In a short span of time, Vedanta College Kolkata has certainly made an unprecedented progress. The clarity of vision and efforts of the management and all those involved have gone a long way in shaping the institution. Education is an effective medium for social transformation. Education transforms both societies and people in a particular direction by shaping and reshaping their patterns of thoughts, means of problem-solving and ways of life. Education promotes capacity of the individuals to accept and adopt change in a meaningful way. Teaching is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, habits and attitude and that learning as a component should be in continuity. Teaching and learning are two sides of the same coin and both must co-exist in harmony to ensure that the desired goals are achieved. In our College, students will be exposed to an all-round development and will be achieving their full potential not just in the field of the academics but also in the extracurricular and co-curricular activities. VCK is supporting the students to develop the necessary skills which will make them more employable.
