I did my M.Sc from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur (now Known as IIEST) in Organic Chemistry as specialization in 2008. After qualifying in NET-JRF (CSIR) I have worked under Dr. Kumaresh Ghosh and I have received my Ph.D degree in 2014 in Organic Supramolecular Chemistry from University of Kalyani. With more than one year research experience in the area of organic supramolecular chemistry under the guidance of Dr. Kumaresh Ghosh, Department of Chemistry, University of Kalyani, West Bengal, India, 2014 – 2015. My Ph.D involved development of new fluorogenic and chromogenic receptors for recognition of anionic species of great biological significance. I have also published extensively from my Ph.D studies in the fields of molecular recognition and supramolecular chemistry. Five of the papers have impact factors greater than three including four published in RSC Advances, one in Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry and another in Analyst. Another research paper, published in Tetrahedron Letters, is cited as a TOP 10 article in the issue with 36 citations to date. I was previously working as Assistant Professor in Chemistry in St. Mary’s Technical Campus, Kolkata (affiliated to MAKAUT and AICTE) since 2015 to 2020. Recently I have joined Vedanta College, Kolkata as Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry since 2021.

After completing my Master degree in Zoology with elective paper Genetics in 2010, I started my career as a Lecturer in reputed colleges and had built up an experience of teaching for more than four years. I started my research work as JRF (Junior Research Fellow) at CSIR-IICB in the department Infectious disease and Immunology under the guidance of Dr. Rupak K Bhadra in 2014. I was upgraded from JRF to SRF (Senior Research Fellowship) in 2017. In the same year I have registered myself for the Ph.D. program under the University of Calcutta in Microbiology. In my journey of last ten years as a Lecturer and a Research Scholar I have gathered experiences that will definitely help me in mentoring students. Presently, in final lap of Ph.D under DST-INSPIRE Fellowship in medicinal plant based natural product synthesis, quantification and pharmaco-therapeutic application. I have completed my Ph.D. degree in the area of Complex and Bicomplex analysis, functions and their different growth properties and applications from the University of Kalyani in 2021 and pursued my Master’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. I had started my career as an Assistant Teacher in Mathematics at Don Bosco School, Liluah and thereafter joined at Sushila Birla Girls’ School. After that in the year 2016, I joined in Bijoy Krishna Girls’ College, Howrah and offered courses like Algebra, Real and Complex Analysis, Numerical Analysis, etc at UG level. Presently I am working in Vedanta College, Kolkata as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics. My research interest pertains to areas of Complex Analysis and Analytic Number Theory. I am an experimental physicist working mainly in the field of material science and condense matter physics. As a student of literature, I have specialized in Feminism and Gender Studies, the idea of Female Body to be of particular interest. I conducted fieldwork among the villagers and Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) of Mandirbazar block of South 24 Parganas district in West Bengal. My M. Phil. dissertation looked into the ways in which Anthropology as a discipline emerged out of an intersection of multiple scholarly fields and intellectual sites in Bengal during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.

In the early of my career, I had started as an Assistant Teacher in Geography at Jadavpur Vidyapith, Jadavpur. After that, I also worked as a TRAINER for SESS-EAST Programme in WEST BENGAL (Ministry of Rural Development Project). From Jadavpur University, I had completed P.G. Dip in Remote Sensing and Geological Information System, Diploma in Social work and Community Service and a Certificate course in Women and Socio-Economic Development and Human Rights. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. from the Department of Geography, the University of Calcutta.
